Dein Perry’s Tap Dogs

Storied Australian entertainer, Dein Perry is bringing an athletic theme to London’s Tap Dancing scene. Indeed, there are a plethora of sporting talents Down Under, and this extends to six guys from a steel town north of Sydney, Australia. Dein Perry calls upon his industrial hometown roots of Newcastle to create chaotic surroundings that are overridden by enlivening rhythmic sequences of Tap Dancing.​

Opening scenes of sprinkles and splashes of water had the audience in hysterics as it depicted human nature in a lighter hearted manner. A building construction site gives performers the extra boost to tap to completion, whilst creating their equivalent of The Harlem Globetrotters with handy basketball tricks. 

The taps aren’t just limited to when performers are standing upright, so get ready for extraordinary circusesque effects. Two drummers appeared from above the stage and sent the pulsating beats of their music through the feet of the smoothly synchronised Tap Dancers.
